If you suspect that you may have any allergies or sensitivities it
would be highly recommended that you have our computerized allergy
sensitivity test done. Unlike the old (and I mean OLD) scratch test
(
the skin is actually scratched to get the allergen under the skin,
usually on the back and watch to see what happens) we are able to
test for approx 150 allergens easily and painlessly. However, the
real advantage is beyond the obvious. The scratch test was
normally good for major reactive allergic substances. The real
obvious stuff. The computerized testing that we use goes beyond this
test. It might be better to first understand allergies, allergens
and sensitivities in simple terms.

takes place in about a percentage point of a percentage point.
That's less than 1% off all reactions are the full blown allergic
reactions. Over 99% of all reactions are minute (small ) reactions
known as sensitivities.

tests that are the real issues. Even if you have had that test done
and it came up negative it does not mean that you aren't having any
reactions. Yes! In fact some reaction may take from 24 to 48 hours
to show up.

Many allergies are
inherited, which means they are passed on to children by their
parents. People inherit a tendency to be allergic, although not to
any specific allergen. When one parent is allergic, their children
have a 50% chance of having allergies. That risk jumps to 75%
if both parents have allergies. Remember, many sensitivities go
totally undetected! They become recognized as health issues but not
identified for what they really are.
